Every rider is different, so the design approach for all Craftworx wheels is to look at a rider profile and design wheels that deliver performance, amazing ride quality and ride dynamics specifically tuned to match that profile.
We use different rim profiles, depths and components to achieve different dynamics that then deliver a wheel to suit the intended rider profile.
ULTIMA SL

The Ultima SL wheels use a 25mm deep profile that has a great balance of compliance and stiffness and designed to give the correct ride dynamics for a rider up to 85kg.
The 25mm depth allows for the correct amount of rim suspension for this weight range while giving lateral stiffness which is important for the cornering forces, efforts out of the saddle when climbing or sprinting and power transfer.
Dynamically Balanced
The result is a wheel set that is dynamically balanced for a rider in the 70-85kg range.
All Craftworx wheels are hand built to order. We use high quality Bladed Stainless Steel spokes to to create the perfect balance between even spoke tension and ultimate strength without adding unnecessary weight.
The wheels can be used with tubeless tyres or clincher tyres (with tubes) and they are supplied with the rim tape fitted.
These wheels are optimised for 25 and 28mm tyres but you can easily use down to 23mm tyres and when clearance allows tyres up to 32mm will also fit on these wheels.
