CRAFTWORX ULTIMA BLADE CARBON 38
Reviewed by RIDE Magazine
There's a lot to like about a wheelset that even right out of the box got nods of approval. Reinforced valve hole, external nipples with resin impregnated threads, Sapim CX-Ray spokes - all features you'd find on wheelsets the price bracket up from the Ultima Blades. Aesthetics get a big tick, with a mixed keyline and solid font matching nearly any paint scheme.
Craftworx supplied a 38mm front/50mm rear combo, which while not super deep would still be enough to be knocked around in the event the rim profile caught more wind than it should. Pleasingly no issues. Braking is on par with what you'd expect from a carbon clincher - and all performed silently. In a time when buyers are spoiled for choice when it comes to carbon clincher hoops, Craftworx are an option that are a little different but not when it comes to quality - Nick, RIDE Magazine.
