Here at Craftworx we do a LOT of custom wheel builds for clients, working with quality components from a variety of global brands. Occasionally, if I like the build and the price is right, I will order in extra stock and offer it as an in house option for clients The wheels you see listed here are one such example.

Classic looking wheels truly modern quality!

If you like the look and the appearance of those wheels from the Merckx era with the shallow box section rims, the TB14 classic wheel set will be right up your alley.

The TB14 rim pays homage to those rims but are made with modern alloys, manufacturing methods and design.

The result is a very traditional looking wheel that rides like a modern version with an amazing ride quality and comfort level. Perfect as a training wheel set, for those less forgiving roads and they are just as at home on a current model carbon bike as they are on a Steel Colnago Master.

Hubs:  We used our Craftworx High-flange 28 hole classic hubs. These are a classic looking hub but made with modern materials, manufacturing and smooth sealed bearings.

Freehub Body: These are available with Shimano freehub only

Rims: H Plus Son TB14 Black Rim Brake Rims 28H with Eyelets and laser engraved badge over valve hole

Spokes:  28 Front & 28 Rear. We use silver or black Stainless Steel spokes. The nipples are brass, they are durable, corrosion resistant and cost effective.

Weight: 1797 grams

These can be built with either black or silver spokes. Please specify when ordering.
