Craftworx opened it's doors in 2012, focusing exclusively on custom wheel building. In 2015 I started designing and manufacturing my own wheels. All of the wheels you see on this web site are of my design, unique to Craftworx and most importantly, they are all hand built by me.

Unlike traditional wheel companies, at Craftworx I offer my clients a personalised, bespoke experience, great service and honest advice.

It was very windy along the FNQ coastline and these wheels ate everything up!My bike split was 2:33 - roughly 36 km/h avg, which is great for a swimmer like me. All of my descents were brilliant compared to everyone else. I hit 81 km/h at one point.I am really happy with these wheels and can't wait to race again. The next few races are sprint tri's, which are better suited to my fitness level. So I'm looking forward to smashing a few 20km bike legs!

Recently bought a 2nd hand bike with a badly damaged wheel. There was no doubt that the new wheels wouldnt be a set of Craftworx, had already made my selection without even having the bike itself. The Craftworx team were amazing, went through what my requirements were and we were off. Wheels arrived and they sound fantastic. The engagement is perfect and with the added Gnarly inners, I have the confidence to go at a lower pressure. Even with the inners, I saved around 150grams from the previous setup without inners!

Upgraded from the stock wheels on my Cannondale SuperX. The Craftworx team sorted me out, understood the AI offset for Cannondale and in no time flat my new wheels turned up. Put them in, did a 550K gravel touring epic loaded up with gear, and they were perfect! Since then, I have ridden them without my bike loaded up and it feels like I have gained an extra gear everywhere. They roll a treat (set up tubeless), and the red anodised hubs and nipples look cool. Highly recommended!

I took these wheels for a spin and they blew me away with scary speed and just had to hold the brake a little too slow down wasn't used to the scary speed I call it and smooth as silk with racing and braking performance 2nd to none and look modestly great. Money well spent and can't wait to ride them again. Mark and his team have so much passion in their field of wheel building and should be awarded with medals in my book. Next to the bike itself the purchase of wheels is usually the biggest cycling outlay. I’m glad to say I’ve no regrets. A chat with Nathan confirmed my choice of Ultima SL28s. Giddy up, these wheels surpassed my expectations.
Coming from a reasonable set of Fulcrum Zeros the difference was very noticeable. Climbing is improved and I was surprised how much improvement I gained with aero. I could not fault these wheels and I’ve given them a pretty good pounding so far.

I originally purchased the Ultima 25 SLs as an all weather option for my Campagnolo Bora Ultra 50 setup, but once I’d ridden the SLs on a few rides, the Boras have remained in their wheel bags ever since, and I’m struggling to imagine a time when I won’t continue to ride SLs on a full time basis
These wheels are so smooth and quiet, and the braking performance with the supply pads is phenomenal … and did I mention how quiet they are ;-)
Top shelf quality wheels at a great price … couldn’t ask for more
